Una carrera innovadora que integra mecánica y electrónica automotriz para formar profesionales altamente competitivos.
San Pedro Sula, Honduras. La Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH) anunció el lanzamiento del primer Técnico Universitario en Sistemas Automotrices del país, una carrera pionera diseñada para atender la creciente demanda de especialistas en tecnología vehicular.
Este nuevo programa tiene como propósito formar técnicos con una sólida preparación en mecánica y electrónica automotriz, capaces de diagnosticar, reparar y optimizar sistemas modernos de vehículos.
Además, contará con un enfoque práctico y actualizado, esta propuesta académica busca preparar a los estudiantes para los retos del mercado laboral actual, donde la innovación y la tecnología marcan la diferencia.
La nueva carrera tendrá un plan de estudio de dos años, que incluirá 29 asignaturas, abarcando desde los fundamentos mecánicos hasta los sistemas electrónicos y el diagnóstico computarizado.
Denis Aguilar, Decano de la Facultad de Ingeniería de UTH, destacó que la universidad tiene como propósito adelantarse a las necesidades del país.
«Con este programa, buscamos formar profesionales que no sólo comprendan la mecánica tradicional, sino que también estén preparados para enfrentar los desafíos de la mecánica moderna. Hoy en día, los automóviles requieren conocimientos avanzados en electrónica, automatización y diagnóstico”, comentó el académico.
Por su parte, Edgardo Enamorado, Secretario General de UTH, comentó que la universidad tomó esta decisión después de hacer una investigación del mercado.
“UTH identificó esta demanda a través de la interacción con concesionarias y usuarios de las distintas marcas de vehículos que circulan en el país, quienes enfrentan cada vez más problemas que no pueden resolverse sólo con la mecánica convencional” explicó el secretario.
Al evento asistieron representantes, ejecutivos y técnicos de reconocidas marcas automotrices como HINO, JAC, LAMA MOTORS, SUZUKI, VOLKSWAGEN, GEELY, Toyota Grupo Q, Yude y Autoexcel.
Asimismo, se contó con la presencia de autoridades universitarias, personal académico y administrativo, así como público en general.
Millonaria Inversión en Tecnología
La universidad realizó una inversión de aproximadamente 6 millones de lempiras en la infraestructura para asegurar una formación práctica de alta calidad.
Msc.Roger Valladares, Director de Tecnología de UTH, comentó que los estudiantes aprenderán en instalaciones de última generación.
«Esta inversión permite que los estudiantes practiquen con diferentes vehículos, sistemas y herramientas que se encontrarán en la industria. Además, nuestros profesores altamente capacitados utilizan su experiencia para preparar a los jóvenes, asegurando que lleguen a sus empleos con ventajas competitivas reales», expresó Valladares
Asimismo, Valladares indicó que esta es la primera incursión de la universidad en esta área, considerando el limitado grado de preparación privada disponible para este tipo de industria.
